BENS Groups will be starting at The Old Needle Works on 5th February. It's an exciting time for us and we've had a lot of interest through Facebook, Instagram and leaflets.
You don't have to be a professional to refer to BENS Groups and your child does not have to have a diagnosis because we work with the child not the diagnosis. We treat each child as an individual and it's about what they tell us they need not what a book tells us.
There are no postcode restrictions and you don't have to be in receipt of any state benefit.
We do however, have to book you a place as we can only take a certain amount of children per session, due to the needs of each individual.
Each week we'll be playing with Lego and board games, doing a bit of cookery and science as well as arts and crafts but most importantly, we'll be giving your child the opportunity to make friends and learn how to communicate.
We will focus on building your child's confidence and resilience through our growth mindset attitude to learning.
