It can be really nerve wracking going somewhere new with people you haven't met before.
Tonight at BENS Groups we had some very brave children attending for the first time. They met new people and found that they enjoyed themselves and actually had some things in common. Together, we made an under the sea freeze. Working together really does pay off!
One boy told his mom, "Mom, I'm the second youngest child here but it doesn't matter!"
The thing I love about this group is that the children support each other and it helps build confidence and self esteem, which is why I set u the group.
